Thank you for using ColorDNA. ColorDNA is designed with privacy in mind. The extension performs all of its functionality locally inside your browser and does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information.

This information is stored locally using Chrome Storage (chrome.storage.local).

Permissions Used

Storage

Stores colors, settings and preferences locally.

Active Tab

Used only when you explicitly use ColorDNA to inspect or analyze the current webpage.

Scripting

Temporarily injects ColorDNA's analysis scripts into the active webpage after a user action.

Clipboard Write

Copies color values to your clipboard only when requested.

Data Processing

ColorDNA performs all processing locally.

No personal information is collected.
No browsing history is uploaded.
No website content is stored remotely.
No analytics are used.
No tracking is performed.
No user data is sold.
No user data is shared with third parties.

Third-Party Services

ColorDNA does not use analytics services, advertising networks, tracking technologies or remote servers.

Your saved colors and settings remain on your device until you choose to remove them.
