StorageLens — Privacy Policy

StorageLens is a Chrome extension by Qyntrax that lets you view, edit, and export localStorage, sessionStorage, and cookies for the tab you have open.

What StorageLens does not do

• It does not collect, transmit, or store your data on any server.
• It does not include analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party scripts.
• It does not sell or share browsing data with anyone.
• It makes no network requests of any kind.

What it accesses, and why

• activeTab / scripting — used only to read and write localStorage/sessionStorage on the tab you currently have open, and only while the popup is open. Nothing runs in the background.
• cookies — used only to list, edit, and delete cookies belonging to the active tab's site, shown in the Cookies tab.

All data you see in the popup stays on your device, in memory, for as long as the popup is open. Nothing is written anywhere except back to the page's own storage or cookies — exactly the same place it already lived.

Export / Import

The Export and Import features read and write a plain .json file directly to/from your computer's file system through your browser's normal file picker. This file never passes through any third-party server.
